Whole Brain Radiotherapy - Stage IV Melanoma, Intent of treatment: This study aims to improve the treatment of brain metastases for patients with stage IV melanoma by using WBRT to improve disease control, and maintain cognitive performance and quality of life.

Chemosensitivity - A study of the molecular profile of melanoma chemosensitivity and resistance in patients undergoing intravenous limb infusion for metastatic melanoma.

ECOG-1697Phase III randomised adjuvant study of high-dose INF alfa-2b v observation for stage II or III melanoma. The objectives are to compare the effect on the relapsefree, overall, quality-adjusted survival and assess the toxicity. Target is 1420 patients.

GSK DERMA - A double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled Phase III study to assess the efficacy of recMAGE-A3 + AS15 ASCI as adjuvant therapy in patients with MAGE-A3 positive resected stage III melanoma with macroscopic lymph node involvement.

EORTC 18071 - A randomized double-blind, Phase III trial of the EORTC Melanoma Group. Adjuvant immunotherapy with anti-CTLA-4 monclonal antibody (ipilimumab) versus placebo after complete rescetion of high-risk Stage III melanoma.
