Phoebe Holt BA(Hons) PhD
Position: Director
Background: Since completing her PhD in Psychiatry in 1988 Phoebe has focused on research into evidence-based medicine and health services evaluation and improvement. She has previously held positions at The Australian Council for Health Care Standards, the Needs Assessment and Health Outcomes Unit in Central Sydney Area Health Service, and Sydney Health Projects Group in the School of Public Health, University of Sydney. Since 2005 Phoebe has played an active role in melanoma research and health services development including the development of the latest Australian and New Zealand guidelines for the Management of Melanoma, the NSW Melanoma Patterns of Care study and a series of background papers prior to the development of a Melanoma Network. In late 2006, she was appointed to establish the Melanoma Network, manage its operations and conduct a series of health service improvement projects and research.

Lani Teddy MSoc Sc
Position: Research Officer
Background: Lani joined the Melanoma Network in 2009 to work on projects that relate to patients' experience of care and the overall facilitation of improved access to services and information. Lani has previously worked on projects that focus on the experiences of particularly vulnerable groups such as a large scale education intervention for Maori students in New Zealand and a pilot project for young carers' of mentally ill parents in London.

Melissa Graf
Position: Administrative Officer
Background: Melissa has 16 years experience providing secretarial and administrative support in a variety of organisations, including 12 years within the public hospital and university sectors. Melissa joined the Melanoma Network in November 2007 after spending almost a year working in a similar position with the Australian Research Council/National Health and Medical Research Council Research Network in Ageing Well.

Jane Jeavons RN
Position: Nurse Researcher
Background: Jane Jeavons is a registered nurse, who has an extensive nursing background with a special interest in the field of dermatology. Jane joined the Melanoma Network in January 2009 taking up the position of Nurse Researcher. Jane is concurrently undertaking a Masters in Dermatology Health and Human Services University of Hertfordshire UK.

Hector Fuentes MSc
Position: Database Administrator
Background: Hector has extensive experience as a Database Administrator involved in research and as a project leader. Before joining the Melanoma Network in June 2009, Hector was associated with the NSW BCI from 2001 to 2008. During this time Hector was involved in developing and managing the in house clinical database (WEBCIS) and working as the Multidisciplinary Teams Coordinator.
