Statement of Acceptable Use
Educational institutions may re-produce and distribute for educational use only, any information on this server, with the exception of videos, so long as the Melanoma Network (or the copyright owner, if the copyright owner is not the Network) is given credit and the copyright notice shown above is inserted at the head of any copies made. Vidoes on this website may not be copied and permission for anything other than private use of videos will require permission from the Network and the speaker/s in the videos.
No information stored on this server may be used for commercial purpose, unless and until the Melanoma Network gives its written permission.

The Melanoma Network abides by the NSW Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (the Act).
The Melanoma Network collects, manages, uses and discloses personal information in accordance with all relevant legislation and standards.
The Melanoma Network will:

In no other circumstances will personal information be disclosed.
The following sets out how the Melanoma Network will deal with personal information related to the content and use of its website.
1. Collection of information

The Melanoma Network may make a record of your visit and log any of the following information for statistical and business purposes - the user's server address, the user's domain name, IP address, the date and time of the visit, the pages accessed and documents downloaded, the previous site visited and the type of browser used.
If you send us a message we will record your e-mail address.
Cookies

The Melanoma Network website contains links to other sites. The Network is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites.
2. Use of personal information
Personal information you supply online will be used by Melanoma Network staff in conducting the business of the Melanoma Network. Such uses include matters related to the dissemination of information about melanoma care and notification of forthcoming melanoma events.
Contact information from the website is used to get in touch with the visitor to the website when necessary, for example when the visitor is requesting a publication or seeking information about a forthcoming event. For certain areas of the site a user's details will be published when they are indicated to be the contact person for a particular event.
3. Disclosure of personal information
The Melanoma Network will not disclose personal information concerning you, including your email address, to parties outside the Melanoma Network except in accordance with its Privacy Policy above which conforms to the requirements of the NSW Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act.
4. Data quality/access
The Melanoma Network will always try to maintain accurate, complete and up-to-date information in a secure location. The necessary procedures are in place to facilitate amendments and verification of personal information.
