Work Plan 2007 - 2010
The work plan encompasses five major areas:
Clinical service improvement:
- The patient (pathways through the health system, experience of care, services available)
- Guidelines/protocols and their implementation ( development , dissemination and implementation of guidelines)
- Information systems (enhancing existing and commencing new collections)
- Service providers (specification of providers including where they work and how do they refer to each other)
Communications/advocacy - establish a system for communication between Network members and relevant cancer organisations including an interactive website
Education – availability of education programs and the quality of existing programs
Accreditation – feasibility of clinical credentialling and accreditation
Research Dissemination – latest research to practising clinicians
